Automobiles and Trucks In America

Supermarket Chains In America - groceteria.com
A fantastic site about supermarkets and their architecture from around 1920
through the 1970s and on to the present. The present is covered from a historical
perspective. Private site, not owned or sponsored by any store.

African-American Pullman Porters Museum
This museum covers the history of the period in American history (1868 through 1968), where
African American men during this golden era of American rail travel rode
the rails as porters. At least two of my relatives worked as porters, and
are presently lost in family history.
